This is one of those life changes experiences.....Highly recommend...If you leave the world of technology & stress for a short time- new perspectives will emerge....horses reflect what you may not see, and T.H.E. Ranch provides a unique setting to this.....

You will not believe what you can find out about yourself going through this program. It's one of the best treats you can give yourself this year. Simply amazing!

I can't think of a better, more rejuvenating, and inspiring way to start the new year than to come to a Horse Mornings Event. You will never regret the time spent with these women..and these horses.
This is an awesome program...you don't have to be comfortable with, or know how to ride...you just have to be willing to open to the horses magic....

Just wanted to thank you again for putting on such a lovely Horse
Mornings for Women program. It was a joy to participate in,
to be in your beautiful setting, and to share the experience with
other women. I am now more aware of how very sensitive my own horse
is and am paying closer attention to the subtle cues she is giving
me. I am also exercising more patience when interacting with her.
My riding instructor even commented on how my seat had improved when
riding
.???? Not sure how that happened. Participating
in this program was something I wanted to do just for myself and Im
so glad I did. The lessons learned apply to so many areas of life.

"I have been more in tune with my space bubble or lack of one.
I have noticed that body language is not necessarily the only way
to let others know about my boundaries. I need to use words before
I get upset. After I get upset, the situation just falls apart and
I become ineffectual. If I leave a situation on a bad note, that is
what is remembered. Better to love, use language, and be that lead
mare when the situation calls for it. I have also experienced my panic
when everything is okay. I grew up in alcoholism and lived in crises
and chaos a lot. I picked a very cooperative horse, August. I thought
I chose the wrong horse after a few sessions because I wasn't having
any difficulty with him on the tasks that were suggested. I questioned
this doubt and was told there are no mistakes. So I am getting in
touch with being uncomfortable when everything is good. I tried to
stir up some chaos recently at home and realized what I was doing.
I would not have this awareness but for my experience at The Healing
Equine Ranch. Thank you.

"I've
always struggled with my sense of self, my self-esteem & my strengths,
or lack of. Working with the horses is helping strengthen my inner
core in a very tangible andspiritual way, that is hard to explain.
This is happening in a short period of time. It's giving me something
I can hang on to, and it's something that doesn't go away, once I've
learned and experienced it. I'm amazed how I'm feeling more aware,
confident and competent with myself, my horse & also with the
people in my life. I've learned a lot from the lead mare about setting
boundaries & not feeling guilty! "

"This
is a wonderful starting point if you really want to understand how
to communicate
with horses, no matter what your ultimate goal is with them. Kiki
and Terry are wonderful teachers and are extremely competent and are
not only amazing with animals but are great with people and dealing
with all types of levels of experience, personalities, fears, etc.,
are very patient but also passionate about wanting you to really understand
and comprehend what they are teaching.
Although
it feels good to be there and take those morning breaths of fresh
air and get grounded, it's not just a "feel-good" program.
It's real lessons and they don't waver in what they are trying to
teach. They are there to truly help you to understand, through talking,
hands-on experience, unique exercises, and some reading material.
Also, being assigned one horse to work with throughout the whole program
is key for building, growing, and putting into practice the concepts
you'll learn along the way, because you'll know where you're at, what
that specific horse is like, etc., and it'll force you to deal with
the same issues each time. For example, the horse I was with had a
habit of walking into me or leaning into me, and I didn't have the
option to just pick another horse that didn't do that. I had to deal
with it and learn how to handle it, in turn, causing me to start to
grasp and learn the principals and concepts being taught. That was
something I really appreciated about the program.
Each
morning was filled with talking to each other, sharing our thoughts,
feelings, questions, etc., getting grounded, taking some deep breaths,
learning facts, truths about horses, laughter, and enthusiasm. You'll
walk away having learned a lot more about yourself and more about
horses."

"Watching the way the horses interact was wonderful and a real
eye opener. I learnt a lot about myself, things that I 'sort of' knew
but working with the horses brought real clarity. I loved every minute
of it and feel that I gained a tremendous amount in just four sessions." F.N.
"First off, I'm not a horse person nor do I want to own a horse,
at least not anytime in the near future. That being said, this horse
camp for women was one of the most enjoyable things I've done for
myself in a very long time. Working with an animal that could obviously
kick my butt helped me dig very deep for strength, for humility, for
trust, and for honesty that sometimes we fool ourselves into believing
we live every day. This camp taught me that I should not second guess
my choices, that I should commit and stay committed until I get the
result I want, whether that be with a horse or with my children or
friends. Using just the right amount of pressure, not too little,
not too much, is a fine art and I can see where this is an invaluable
lesson as I trudge through my life. "

"With a degree in Psychology and having spent the last 10 years
in complementary medicine I have worked with numerous therapists and
modalities. This program, with these 2 phenomenally talented and intuitive
women is a gift to the world. Each session is a unique opportunity
to tune into your authentic self. The gift of your co therapist (
the horse) allows you to see yourself and how others receive you.
In minutes, sometimes seconds, you can experience radical shifts in
your awareness and embody these shifts so they become part of you
not just something you read or learned about. Thank you Kiki and Terri-
there is nothing out there that can embody change like your progam
