Horse Mornings is an eight hour in-person workshop a secluded private ranch in the Malibu mountains near Agoura, CA.
This workshop is designed for anyone interested in learning the basics of natural horsemanship, groundwork and liberty work. Students typically use the ranch horses but there is an option to use your own.
Participants meet four times to learn how to connect with horses using the their natural language. This language includes body messages, intention, focus, breathing, working with energy and developing a keen observation of what is important to the horse.

Session 1
Saturday, October 15, 2022 (10am-12n)
Horses in the herd. Observing the natural hierarchy. Connecting with your own horse and building the relationship.
Session 2
Sunday, October 16, 2022 (10am-12n)
Ground work part 1. Connecting with horses using a halter and lead rope. Basic body language, breathing and creative visualization.
Session 3
Saturday, October 22, 2022 (10am-12n)
Ground work part 2. Adding obstacles and improving skills on the ground.
Session 4
Sunday, October 23, 2022 (10am-12n)
Liberty. Just you and the truth about your relationship.
This course is for anyone with a love of horses and a desire to know more about the subtle ways they communicate. Beginners welcome. (All interaction will be on the ground, no riding)
These are small groups 4-6 people usually. Lots one on one time with the instructors and the horses.

Meet your instructors:
Kiki Ebsen and Terry Carroll are life long friends and seasoned equestrians. They created Horse Mornings over ten years ago. It quickly became a popular workshop series in the community. Kiki is the founder of The Healing Equine Ranch, a horsemanship learning facility. She has rescued each horse in the program and oversees their development. Kiki learns and grows by attending several clinics a year with her horsemanship mentors. She embodies a yogic lifestyle and incorporates yogic philosophy, ethics, breath work, meditation and movement into her teachings. Terry is a certified substance use disorder counselor, addiction specialist and life coach (CADC-CAS). She has her own business, Stable Lives, instilling hope, restoring balance and awakening joy in families in need. By helping others, Terry strengthens the bond with her own horses. Kiki and Terry combine their knowledge and experience to present a program that is filled with new insight and inspiration designed to further educate, enlighten and empower their students.
